i am honored to be featured on always unstable, a blog by meghan shultz. i wrote a piece called “dear antidepressants: five things i hate about you.” i share my frustration with some of the negative side effects that come with taking psych meds. i know i’m not the only one whose life has been impacted by antidepressants, mood stabilizers, antipsychotics or any other psychotropic medication. i don’t usually talk about how hard it is to take my meds because the good outweighs the bad. but some of the side effects are more than a little bit difficult to cope with. thanks to meghan for giving me the outlet for some healthy venting.
